Colouring a raster by value

raster-color-mix decodes each Terrain-RGB pixel into metres, and raster-color maps that value onto a ramp. Moving the range restretches the ramp on the GPU without fetching new images.

Try 400 to 1,200 m to pull out the Shire Highlands and the edge of the plateau.

Where it fits

The same two properties colour a rainfall or temperature field: a value goes in, a colour comes out, and thresholds change without re-rendering anything.
